Up-to-date News from Neckarwestheim & surrounding

This morning, 8.00am the three Castor containers from Neckarwestheim left the nuclear power station. Before that, a camp just in front of the station was evicted by many police. During the camp eviction and dismantling of two road-blockades 150 people got arrested.

The containers were transported to a gathering-point in Walheim by articulated lorries.

One container from Grundremmingen has reached Walheim. The two other containers who are still in France are also likely to run to Walheim today.

From there the six Castors will run to Gorleben, probably on Monday. It´s not clear yet, if this will be in one or in two trains.
