LaRC is a collectively run resource centre and meeting space. It is open to everyone interested in or working on self-organised, non-hierarchical projects for radical social change. The centre is run by a collective of volunteers and decisions are made by consensus at the monthly LaRC meetings or via our email list.

Our resources include computers with internet access, scanner and printer, Linux, video projector and screen, a video editing suite, a dressing up corner with funky clothes plus a sewing machine to make your own, banner making space, a comfy meeting space and a kitchen corner with organic fairtrade teas and coffee.
You can also have a cup of tea and browse our library with lots of radical books and videos (which you can borrow). Don't forget to check our notice board upstairs in Single Step Wholefood Shop.

There are many projects, groups and activities in and around LaRC, working on such issues as independent media, ecology, peace, animal rights, permaculture and tree-planting. If you are interested in any of these, get in touch to get involved. Or if you've got some ideas for stuff but need a space and like-minded people, just come along - LaRC might provide you with both!

Contact us, or even better, just pop down any Wednesday from 4-7pm or come to one of our monthly meetings.

All Welcome!

Open every Wednesday from 4-7pm.
