The Black Hole
The black hole in the centre of Lancaster. The new cinema development
stands empty. There is no cinema. There are no retail outlets. There is only
accumulated litter and the smell of stale urine. Some brave or reckless
people risk walking through, but this place should be thronging with happy
shoppers and not a place for drunks and dogs to relieve themselves in
solitude.
