Not a Wonderful World

I see fields of green, and clouds of white,

The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night,

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

I see forests fall, and species doomed,

And profits boom, for you know whom,

The colours of the rainbow, that mix in oil spills,

It damages our rivers, and makes our children ill,

I see men making plans, they don't know what they do,

They need a lesson in something new,

I see babies crying, stunted they'll grow,

They'll know more pain than we'll ever know,

The colours of the rainbow, upon the Union Jill,

An emblem of the future, to show the peoples will,

I see friends squatting land, and grow their own food,

I think the message is getting through,

I see change a 'coming, The movement grow,

Then governments, we'll overthrow,

Then perhaps it could be, such a wonderful world,
